Posts: 15 Joined: 8 Jun 2007 | Word from the community relations manager: "While we understand that there are some folks out there that did not receive Buddy Keys and believe that they are signed up, we will not be resending another batch of Buddy Keys. Our web team has investigated the actual e-mail and it got a low SPAM rating in a number of systems and we did confirm it was sent out to those who opted in. There could be a number of reasons for not getting the e-mail, old e-mail address in the system or SPAM e-mail filters on various clients just to name a few. So instead of sending out more Buddy Keys and maybe hitting a few more people we're working on a better solution to resolve the problem for anyone who wants an extra key to give to a friend. Sit tight as we get the new program in place and we'll be sure that you get keys. Thanks folks!!" |

Posts: 15 Joined: 8 Jun 2007 | Alright, i'm sorry to say the Buddy Key program is now over - the keys have expired and can NOT be used any more. Congratulations to those who received keys, sorry to those who didn't. As for what happens next, well there is work being made on a possible forth round of buddy keys (distributed in a more user friendly way so if it does happen that should go smoother) and of course theres the permanently set-up trial thats coming with the launch of Station Launcher (not eta as yet). And remember, the game is also available over at www.direct2drive.com so if you feel like taking the plunge ($20/£13) you can always try it out through there (with 30 days subscription free with your purchase). Sorry again to those who missed out and i hope to get back to everyone with good news in the near future. |

I would be most grateful for a trial key. I know it is one per person and I really appreciate the generosity. If anyone could get me one I would appreciate it.
I signed up for the newsletter last week after finding these forums but have not seen an email as of yet.
As an aside, if anyone can point me towards one for my m8 I would be even more grateful.
